EPN383 - Pension Changes - Employer Impact Documents

Audience: This notice will be of interest to: 

  • HR Manager; and 
  • Pension Leads

Action: To read and act on the Employer Impact Document at Annex A

Timing: Immediate

  1. At the recent employer events we told you the 2015 Implementation Team was preparing a series of documents setting out the differences between the current pension arrangements and the 2015 scheme. The purpose of these Impact Documents is to explain where you will need to make changes to your existing guidance and processes.
  2. At Annex A is the first of the series of these Employer Impact documents. This covers eligibility and enrolment. Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with the information.
  3. We intend to send you further Impact Documents in May 2014, covering: 
  • Added Years/Added Pension 
  • Effective Pension Age 
  • Ill Health Retirement

Please note that these documents replace the Employer Impact Document we gave you in November 2013. There may be some difference due to evolving policy. You should refer to the latest versions.
