The 2015 New Pension Implementation Programme has learned that some Employers have assumed the implementation date for alpha will move. This EPN is to remind you that the alpha changes are legislative. This means the 1 April 2015 implementation date will not change, and is not negotiable. All Civil Service Pension Employers must continue to work towards having their IT and business processes ready to support the administration of alpha from 1 April 2015. If you are not ready, MyCSP will not be able to administer alpha, and your failure will be seen at Ministerial level. The Employer Engagement Leads will continue to support you to be ready by this date.
