EPN441 – Government Banking Service (GBS) delay in moving to new banking arrangements for scheme payments

Action: To

  • Continue to pay your Civil Service Pension contributions to the Cabinet Office's existing CITI Bank account until further notice.

  • Immediate

Detail

  1. EPN436 told you the bank account into which you should pay Civil Service Pension contributions would change from 1 October 2015. GBS has had to delay the move from CITI Bank to RBS.  This means you will need to continue to pay Civil Service Pension contributions into the Cabinet Office’s CITI Bank account until further notice.

  2. Employers who currently pay their monthly contributions by Internal Transfer, Credit Transfer, Faster Payment, CHAPs or BACS should ensure that the account details, as shown below, are used.

  3. Please note that all other processes remain the same. The Contribution Breakdown should be sent to csvote@cabinet-office.x.gsi.gov.uk when payment is made. You should also use this inbox for any questions you have about the content of this EPN or you can write to:
