1) The resources available to you are:
a) A Thinking of joining the Civil Service? page at www.civilservicepensionscheme.org.uk that includes information on contribution rates, dependant benefits and ways to increase the Civil Service pension, links to Bitesize videos and FAQs.
b) A PDF benefits flyer (see Annex A, below). This flyer includes a message from the Director of Civil Service Pensions Operations and Government Recruitment Services and contains a high-level overview of the scheme benefits and some example benefit calculations.
c) We are in the process of creating a short video which will be hosted on the Civil Service careers website. The video will use the experiences of real-life members and the idea that ‘your pension makes it possible’ to highlight the Civil Service pension scheme as a way for people to do the things they love in later life.
