The Scheme Management Board (SMB) oversees the delivery of the Civil Service pension arrangements. The SMB is supported by the Scheme Management Executive (SME). Employer Notice 3 issued by the My Civil Service Pension programme team on 11 March 2010 gives more information about the SMB.
SME provide the secretariat to the SMB and has responsibilities for, among other things, day to day governance of the arrangements and the second stage of the Internal Disputes Resolution procedure. The SME is based in Cabinet Office. From 9 May their address will be:
