Employees who are not civil servants but are eligible to participate in alpha

The Minister has made a determination under section 25(5) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013 that the scheme for the payment of pensions and other benefits established by the Public Service (Civil Servants and Others) Pension Regulations 2014 (“alpha”) will also relate to the following:

Employees of the following can join:

  • museums,
  • galleries,
  • other comissions,or
  • other bodies listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972
  • Holders of any office listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972
