EPN744: Important information about Statements of Work (SoWs)

Summary

  • MyCSP will no longer accept Statements of Work (SoWs) from 12 November 2025.

  • SoWs received prior to 12 November 2025 will continue to follow the principles and process set out in EPN720

  • SoWs relating to Scheme Exits, Bulk Transfers and Payroll Migrations will continue to be progressed until 21 November 2025.

  • SoWs relating to Added Years and Added Pensions will continue to 21 November for individuals who are retiring.

  • MyCSP is working closely with Capita and Cabinet Office to ensure any incomplete SoWs are transferred to Capita.

Actions

  • Please stop sending new SoWs to MyCSP from 12 November 2025 and hold these until after the service has transitioned to Capita.

  • To note that any new SoWs sent to MyCSP from 12 November 2025 will not eb picked up or progressed.

  • To note that SoWs relating to Scheme Exits, Bulk Transfers and Payroll Migrations will continue to be progressed until 21 November 2025.  

  • SoWs relating to Added Years and Added Pensions will continue to 21 November for individuals who are retiring.

Detail

As part of ongoing preparations to transition administration of the Civil Service Pension Scheme to Capita, MyCSP will no longer undertake new Statements of Work (SoWs) from 12 November 2025.

SoWs relating to Scheme Exits, Bulk Transfers and Payroll Migrations will continue to be progressed in the usual way.

Aside from these, any new Statements of Work sent from this date will not be picked up or progressed by MyCSP. Employers should await further instruction from Capita on how to raise new SoWs from 1 December 2025.

SoWs received by MyCSP prior to 12 November 2025 will continue to follow the principles and process set out in EPN720.

MyCSP is working closely with Capita and Cabinet Office to ensure any incomplete SoWs are transferred to Capita. A communication from Capita containing further information about the SoW process going forwards will be issued week commencing 17 November 2025.
