Detail

In November 2023, HML was awarded the contract to continue as the Scheme Medical Adviser for the Civil Service Pension Scheme. Part of this was to deliver an improved portal to enhance communications and efficient processing, provide enhanced Management Information for the contract manager and employers, and maintain robust security standards.

As HML was acquired by Medigold Health in March 2023, the rollout of this improved portal was delayed as the conjoined companies aligned their strategic direction. HML is a subsidiary of Medigold and will be using all of Medigold’s systems and branding going forward.

The HML portal will go live on 28 April 2025.

We recognise this is a short turnaround, but please be assured there are no changes to the overall processes.

Any applications made before the launch date will be completed through the existing platform.

Every application (new, review, or appeal) made after the launch date must be submitted via MedigoldOne.

An email was sent to all pension leads during the week commencing 31 March 2025 requesting details of super users for the new MedigoldOne system. If you did not see this, please ensure that the form is completed and sent to South.06@healthmanltd.com or pensions.t2@medigold-health.com

A request for super user information was made a couple of weeks ago; Medigold will create user accounts on MedigoldOne, which will generate an automated email for those with accounts. Please look out for these from 24 April 2025 onwards.

Super user accounts are for those who are pension leads within the organisation or those who need oversight of all applications.

These super users can make applications and also have access to the URLs used by those with temporary or manager logins. We strongly encourage super users to publish these URLs on an intranet site, where individuals are responsible for raising applications.

HML systems will continue to undergo security due diligence through routine meetings with the Cabinet Office’s Security Working Group.

The applications have been reviewed and simplified; however, the changes are not significant.
