Adding or changing a death benefit nomination
If you are currently employed by the Civil Service or receiving your pension, you may add or amend your death benefit nomination via the Member Portal.
If you are no longer with the Civil Service and have an unclaimed Civil Service pension or cannot access the Member Portal, please complete and submit a Death Benefit Nomination form.
Changing your name or marital status
If you are currently employed by the Civil Service, simply notify your employer of any changes and they will update your details with us.
For those who have left the Civil Service and still have an unclaimed pension, fill out the Online Change of Details and Retirement Application form. Please ensure to include the required documentation for example, a marriage certificate, decree absolute or deed poll and submit back to us.
If you are receiving your pension, use the Online Change of Details form specifically for pensioners.
Changing your bank details
If you are a current Civil Servant and need to update your information, you can do so via the Member Portal or please get in touch with us.
If you have left the Civil Service and possess an unclaimed pension, we will request your bank details during your retirement process.
If you are already receiving your pension, you must submit a written request or complete the Change of Details form and send it to us by post. Alternatively, you can update your details on the Member Portal.
Changing your phone number, address or email address
If you're still working for the Civil Service or receiving a pension, update your contact details through the Member Portal .
If you can't access the portal and are employed by the Civil Service, ask your employer to forward us your new information.
Pensioners can use the Online Change of Details form to update their phone number or email address.
