Summary

  • Employer Administration Guidance (EAG) is a free, online e-learning tool for participating Civil Service Pensions employers.
  • The aim of EAG is to help employers understand their role and responsibilities as a participating employer, and fulfil their obligations to the Scheme.
  • EAG launched in October 2018. For more information about the launch of EAG, please read EPN554.
  • If you have not yet completed EAG, you must do so by the deadlines shown below.
  • To register for EAG, users must first request an online profile from the Scheme Administrator (MyCSP).

Actions

1. You will need to identify individuals in your organisation to register for training. Pension leads and staff members who have a delegated responsibility in the administration of the Civil Service pension scheme should complete the training.

2. You will need to provide Scheme Administrator with users’ details, so they can create an online profile for them. To do this, complete the User Profile template in Annex A and return it to ERMs@mycsp.co.uk.

3. You should be aware of the deadlines for completing the EAG’s individual training modules, shown below.

Timing

5. So that an account can be set up, the Scheme Administrator will share this information with Learning Pool. Learning Pool’s privacy policy explains how, and for what purposes, they intend to use the information they collect about you.

6. The Scheme Administrator will conduct an annual review of all user profiles and delete profiles no longer required.

7. Confirmation of completed training modules for relevant staff in your organisation may be included in future Annual Assurance Statements (AAS).
