  • The guidance is now in line with the original scheme rules.
  • The Standard Interface Developer’s Guide has been updated with the correct guidance. Version 7.1 will be emailed directly to all Employer Interface contacts from the MyCSP Interface Team inbox.
  • We appreciate that changes to payroll or the pension interface cannot always be made immediately. The Scheme Administrator will collaborate with employers to meet the revised data requirements documented in the Developer’s Guide.

This EPN and Version 7.1 of the Standard Interface now provides the correct guidance that Added Pension, EPA and EEPA contributions for an employee on a family-related assumed pay absence must be based on actual pay (not assumed pay as previously advised). These are:

  • Statutory Maternity Pay.
  • Paid Maternity Leave.
  • Paid Adoption Leave.
  • Paid Shared Parental Leave.
  • Paid Paternity Leave.

For all other assumed pay absences, Added Pension, EPA and EEPA contributions must be based on assumed pay.
