Summary

  • Employer Administration Guidance (EAG) is a free, online e-learning tool for participating Civil Service Pensions employers, that was launched in 2018. For more information, please read EPN554 and EPN580.
  • The aim of EAG is to help employers understand their role and responsibilities as a participating employer, and fulfil their obligations to the Scheme.
  • Please note: Completion of the modules will be optional for employers for the 25/26 year, due to the move to the new Scheme Administrator. The mandatory requirement previously in place, will not apply for this period.

Actions

  • Each module is now available on the EAG learning platform for the 2025 year.
  • Previous completions for the 24/25 year (which were required by 31/03/25) have been re-set.
  • For the 25/26 year, completion of the modules will be optional for employers, due to the move to the new Scheme Administrator.
  • Please note that if employers do wish to complete the modules, the completion period is shorter than normal, due to the move to the new Scheme Administrator.

Detail

  • The Scheme Administrator (MyCSP) has re-set the five Employer Administration Guidance (EAG) modules. These are now available on the learning platform.
  • Employers have the option to complete these five modules between now and 31 October 2025. The shorter completion period for 2025 is due to the move to the new Scheme Administrator.
  • The e-learning modules are designed to be completed by pension leads and staff who may have delegated responsibility in scheme administration within your organisation.
  • Registered users can access and complete the modules using their existing EAG login details.
  • If you need to amend any existing users, you should send your request to ERMs@mycsp.co.uk. Your request should detail who you want to remove and replace. Please note that Pension Leads must remain as a registered user.
  • If you have not yet registered for the learning, please follow the steps in EPN580.
