I have been in classic for 30 years and will retire in May, after two months in alpha. I want to take the maximum lump sum I can take under the classic scheme. Can I still do this and how will it impact the choice I am asked to make in October 2023?
Your choice to take the maximum lump sum still remains. When you’re offered the option to choose post October 2023, it may change the level of lump sum available to you.
